Hello and welcome to our site! My name is Tayla and I am the stylist at LIV.
I am so EXCITED to announce that LIV Studio has moved!
Some people will say that timing is everything. They’ll tell you to create goals, to create a plan and then stick with it for the next 5 years. And though I am a strong believer in the benefits of effectively executing a well thought out plan, I am here to say from experience that you can never anticipate when an opportunity will be presented to you. All that matters at that moment is what you choose to do with it.
Though I had a plan for LIV, I was recently invited to combine LIV Studio with another salon. And let’s just say, working alongside this salon owner has been a dream of mine since the age of 5.
My mother, Penny Morris, a well-respected stylist with 40 years of experience, has FINALLY given in to combining with me! After much persistence, convincing, and cracking sarcastic jokes that were only a joke if she didn’t take them seriously,
she has finally come forward and in a light-hearted way said:
“what if you move into my salon?”
To this day, we’ll never know if she fully thought this out before speaking because I never gave her a chance to have a second thought.
For those who have been to the studio, you know how much I love it there. And though I will miss it there, I understand that this chapter has come to an end. It’s time for me to experience new beginnings. I am already so excited about all the memories that the two of us will be able to create that will last us for a lifetime.
Here’s to moving forward and learning to cherish the unplanned moments. 2020.
